V40 - Malin

Hallo liebe Vindö-Freunde!

Seit 2018 sind wir nun glückliche Eigner einer 1973er Vindö 40. Nachdem wir 15 Jahre mit einem Vollholzfolkeboot die Ostsee unsicher machten war es Zeit für ein paar Meter mehr - und auf See blickten wir schon immer den Vindös nach.
Jetzt freuen wir uns über die wundervollen Linien und die souveräne Seegängigkeit unserer Malin.

Alles ist so gelassen und elegant an Bord einer Vindö!

The name of your boat reminded me of the northernmost place in Ireland called "Malin Head", it's absolutely beautiful in any weather. Rough place to sail though :-)

Hello Eire!

What a beautiful landscape - I give you that! Our boat though is named after another beauty, a figure of Astrid Lindrgen in the swedish book "vi pa saltkrokan".
In 1964 they made a tv series out of it and Louise Edlind played Malin.

I loved Karlsson on the Roof and Pippi Longstocking as a child, Astrid Lindgren is a legend! Your boat has a good karma :-)
